Over the past year, I have had the privilege of coaching one of the best young golf professionals in the world, Tony Finau. As a former PGA Tour player and now coach to many professional golfers, I have seen some of the best players in the world up close.
What Tony can do with a golf ball and on a golf course is simply amazing.
Tony holds the record for highest ball speed ever measured on the PGA Tour. But power and distance off the tee alone didn’t make him one of the PGA Tour’s young rising stars. Tony has it all–a strong mind and very efficient technique has allowed him to perform successfully under the extreme pressures he has to deal with on the PGA Tour.
Professional athletes are always looking for that “edge” and the everyday golfer should be as well.
We have all heard the adage “practice makes perfect.” But the truth is, practice makes permanent. For better or worse.
So how we practice and “prepare to be ready” ends up making all the difference. Tony always trains and practices with a clear purpose in mind. To make his training most effective, we have incorporated SKLZ training tools into his daily routines to make sure that we were using the proper technique and ingraining the proper muscle memory to allow his swing to be the most efficient.
Over the coming year, I look forward to sharing with you the SKLZ golf training tools and our secrets about how we specifically use them in his golf training to maximize his results. I know that the SKLZ golf training tools will help you “prepare to be ready” so you can accomplish your golfing goals this season. Whether it is to break 100 for the first time, lower your handicap, win your club championship, gain a college scholarship, or just enjoy the game more, SKLZ and our team will help you get there.
